The Welsh Hard Grey Slate is highly durable, withstands harsh weather and is suitable for memorial headstones.

Welsh Hard Grey slate is quarried from Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda, North Wales with evidence of its use dating to Roman times in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, North Wales.

The stunning dark blue grey slate with occasional veining is non porous which makes it resistant to water absorption and damage from the elements.

Welsh slate required little maintenance due to its durability and resistance to staining, with occasional wiping to remove dust or debris ensuring they retain their beauty for generation.
